The Emirates ATP Rankings have been updated, and after winning the 2013 US Open, Rafael Nadal has considerably bridged the gap between himself and Novak Djokovic in the singles ranking. The Spaniard has 10,860 points and trails Djokovic by only 120 points, thus bringing him tantalizingly close to the No. 1 ranking at the end of the final. The rest of the season looks great for Rafa, who, unlike Djokovic, has no points to defeat.

In the Race to London, Rafa has now gained a considerable lead over all his opponents. Vamos, champion!
