After a morning practice session with David Ferrer, Rafael Nadal attended the Rogers Cup draw ceremony at the Uniprix Stadium in Montreal on Friday, August 2. Speaking about the tournament, Rafa had this to say:
“The 2005 Rogers Cup final against Agassi is one of the best finals I have played in my career. I also enjoy the city of Montreal.”
On being superstitious:
“After doing Roland Garros draw for 7 years, I am not superstitious about helping in draws.”
Rafa told reporters that he is looking forward to playing after his early exit from Wimbledon.
“I haven’t played a tournament in seven weeks, and that’s not the ideal preparation, but I got here on Wednesday and I’ve been working hard.”
Rafa does not have any points to defend for the rest of the year, and will only be gaining points from here on.

I remember that game with Andre. Rafa was such a gentleman, he won but left the spotlight entirely to Andre.
Nice pictures, still cute as always with a beautiful smile. You rejuvenated beautiful Rafa!
