Rafa is a class act who always says something complimentary about an opponent even
when Rafa wins. His only fault, perhaps, is overexertion, as when he jumped high at Wimbledon,
hitting his head and then proceeding to lose the first two sets and then the match. Recently,
he played two matches in the same day when he had another choice. A more balanced approach might keep him Number 1 for a long time!
rafa is the best!!!!
Is Rafa playing Abu Dhabi this year?
Organizers posted last week that Rafa will play there.
Nadal to be number 1 at Cincinnati Open
I always liked Roger and he is a great player no doubt but he doesn’t have the class and dignity that Rafael Nadal has. Roger has made very rude comments about players a few years ago when he wasn’t doing well. He can get away with it because he;s “the great Rogaer Federer”. Just let Rafa or someone else make comments like that and they would get called out on it. When Rafa comments or expresses his opinion it;s always done with dignity and respect. VAMOS RAFA. Love Marylynn.
Seriously!!!! Thats the one of the thing (class and dignity) which sets apart Roger from the rest. I guess you are more of a Federer hater than a Rafa supporter.
God bless RAFA not to have unfortunate moments like the one he had minutes before his 4th round match at Wimbledon 2017. D NADHAMUNI
IN my opinion Rafa is the no 1 player and sportsman in the tennis world
I would vote for him 8 days a week
xo. Rafa. You are #1 with me
MSS
Very sad Raffa didn’t get it; he is by far a more gracious sportsman and athlete than RF!
I HAD NOOOO IDEA RAFA WAS NOMINATED FOR AN ESPY! I PERHAPS SHOULD LOOKED & I WOULD HAVE CAMPAIGNED BUT DIDNT KNOW. I FEEL TERRIBLY SAD FOR HIM. HE SO DESERVED IT. ,(
Yes Judi, I think the Rafa network has to improve when it comes to these votes. Maybe people don’t take them too seriously. RF wins the WTF almost every year but Rafa has 13 million on twitter compared to Roger’s 7. Where are all these people when it comes to voting?
Exactly! I think we should meet with Rafa about it! Lol 💓💕💖💗💙💕💓
I had no idea Rafa had been nominated for ‘best tennis player’ by ESPYs. I did not see the link to the vote via any of the usual Rafa networks. Did you post it RNF? I saw it via twitter 2 days ago and the vote is now over. The link featured a picture of RF only and, of course, he won. In the days where people decide what to read and spread on social media in seconds I think a picture of all 4 nominees should have been featured. Only RF was nominated for ‘best comeback athlete’ which is surprising. Rafa was not nominated for ‘best record breaking performance’. La Decima completely ignored. Griping? I am indeed.
I agree with you. Rafa is the best, and so humble. I too did not know he was nominated for an espy. He definitely should have won! He has more class than any other player, and plays his heart out every match. I hope he wins the u.s. open! That would be awesome!
It is very strange, the best matches i saw in Wimbledon this year, where Rafas matches. Sometimes things are going wrong, and you can’t understand why. Nobody fights like Rafa, nobody is a gentleman like Rafa, and i see that he can continues for other years, because a lot of players are much older than he is. For me and for million other fans you are the best, the only tennis star!!!!
So sorry was praying this would be your Wimbledon.
Good luck for the rest of the year.
Praying for your health & success! Love you. From my 95 yr old Mom. Virginia Bennett
Wow… he has a hefty October 2017 Schedule. Might want to reconsider Rafa…
I’d say skip Beijing and Paris. Shanghai is a good masters to go to and the Chinese will still get to see you play on their soil. Paris already saw you win the French so go to Rogers home town and beat him there so the Swiss get to see you too.
I wish you to be the greatest of all times
Rafa you are a superstar! Your perseverance, gentlemanly attitude are a lesson to both young and old. We have never lost faith in you. Good luck at Ronald Garros and Wimbledon. Jayne and Ann from Norfolk.
An ambitious program Rafa….but we all are sure you will win again more and more, RG next week and then other tournaments. You are the best player ever, a true sportsman in and outside the grounds. Vamooooooossss!!!!
You will make Roland Garros greed Again,
You are a Big exaple for me, I am 10 years old and train 10 hours per week.
Please can you give me a tip how to deal with anger when my aponent is playing fals, or when I have a bad day playing?
It would be nice if you can respond to me.
Thanks
Every thing has been said about rafahe will go into the record book as the greatest player of all time is a true champion and gentleman on and off the court
Monte Carlo to Roland Garros is virtually back to back – there is little recovery period. History tells us you play well on clay, you sacrifice elsewhere. Rafa’s success to other surfaces is unprecedented. No other player in history has been able to succeed on clay, HC and grass as Rafa. That is why Rafa is more than the King of Clay but one of the greatest, if not the greatest, player in history.
