On Thursday (7 August), Rafael Nadal and his wife, Maria Francisca Perello, welcomed their second son, Miquel. According to Ultima Hora, the family left the hospital on Saturday afternoon.
His name pays tribute to Xisca’s late father, who passed away in 2023 at the age of 63 after a long illness.
Rafa and Mery became first-time parents on October 8, 2022, with the birth of their son, Rafael Junior, three years after tying the knot.
Spanish media report that, unlike the birth of their first child, this time Mery has managed it much better and recovered more quickly. In fact, by the third day they had already left the hospital.
