Rafael Nadal Powers Through to Brisbane Quarterfinals with Convincing Win Over Jason Kubler [PHOTOS]

Rafael Nadal smoothly advanced to the quarterfinals of the season-opening Brisbane International, securing a commanding 6-1, 6-2 triumph over Australian wild card Jason Kubler on Thursday.

Embraced by fans in Brisbane, Rafa showcased his prowess by breaking Kubler twice in both sets, clinching victory in just 80 minutes.

For a place in the semifinals, our champ will face Jordan Thompson, who sealed his quarterfinal berth without lifting a finger after French fourth-seed Ugo Humbert withdrew.

Vamos Rafa!

  2. Miracle & Hero, thats what Rafa meinst to me. Wow Wow , The Level of Performance is a noch of Respekt to Rafas performance

  3. Just to amend my gushing praise of Tennis TV. It doesn’t cover Grand Slams, which is a bit disappointing.

Also doesn’t have any Davis Cup or Olympics.

Anyone know of a site that covers those three?

    Cheers

      • Thanks for that.

Hmmmmm. Would involve getting cable. The Beeb does Wimblers on iPlayer which is handy but it’s not like they have an enormous catalogue of previous years. ITV does French Open. Same story on ITVX, no back catalogue. Don’t think there’s a terrestrial channel in the UK that does AO or USO (no full matches, they may do very limited highlights) As for Olympics and Davis cup, they’re all over the place depending on the country hosting them.

Would be nice to find a streaming service that covers GS, Davis Cup and Olympics. With a lot of previous years available to stream. Going back to 2004, ideally.

Google is my friend. Time for a good old search.

      • I had a lot of problems with Beebs last year and couldn’t watch Wimbledon. Rafa didn’t play so it didn’t bother me at all but this year I also need to find better solution if they haven’t fixed the problem.
