Rafael Nadal and Arthur Fils Hit the Courts in Kuwait

On Friday, December 8, Rafael Nadal touched down in Kuwait, marking the beginning of his training at the academy ahead of his return to the court after a substantial injury hiatus.

Engaging in a spirited exchange of shots, he practiced with the talented French player, Arthur Fils, who recently impressed as the runner-up at the 2023 Next Gen ATP Finals.

He is joined there by his coach Carlos Moya, good friend Marc Lopez and physio Rafael Maymo.

After a brief stay in Kuwait, our champ plans to return to his home in Mallorca before embarking on his journey Down Under.

Rafa is scheduled to kick off his 2024 season at the ATP 250 Brisbane International.
