WATCH: Rafael Nadal receives his sixth AS Sports Award

22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal has received the AS Sports Award for the sixth time in his career on Tuesday night in Madrid.

During brilliant season 2022, Rafa has won two Grand Slam titles – the Australian Open and the French Open. He passed Roger Federer on the all-time Grand Slam singles titles list. He also broke a tie with Novak Djokovic and ended a season as the all-time men’s singles Grand Slam singles title leader for the first time.

Our champ has also finished the year as World No. 2 a record seven times in his career.

    • I would love to see Rafa win some more grand slams and masters 1000 titles in 2023! There will be four masters 1000 events played over the course of 2 weeks in 2023…including Indian wells, Miami, madrid, and rome. All are winnable for Rafa. Vamos!
