“My best match in the tournament… Easy to say that because the other day was tough. But, yeah, important improvement. But I need to keep going. It’s a good victory for me. Straight sets for the first time. Third set was a challenge. He increased the level. I went through some difficult moments. “It’s a little bit bigger than usual but it’s OK, the nose is still there,” Rafa joked after winning his 30th match at night on Arthur Ashe Stadium.
“Night sessions here in New York are the best in the world without a doubt. Playing here is amazing. Three matches already, I increased a little bit the level today so that’s important for me I think. I’m happy for that against a very good friend like Richard. I need to keep playing better and better to have chances to go through.”

Tracy, chances are it will be a night time match which is good for Rafa.
The schedules are not set until late the day before so all we can do is wait and check in to this site every once in a while.
They just released the schedule of play for Labor Day. Rafa plays the second day match on Ashe. Vamos Rafa!
