Rafael Nadal will start his Italian Open campaign against World No. 27 John Isner in Rome on Wednesday.

The big-serving American has never beaten Rafa on clay, although he did run him extremely close at Roland Garros several years ago.

Rafa has collected the Italian Open title a record 10 times, the latest of which came last year in a three-set win over Novak Djokovic in the final.

  1. Beating Isn’t is no picnic and Rafa will need to serve better than he has all year . Holding serve and winning the tie breakers is what I expect Rafa to do . Vamos !
