  1. My first post here, albeit have read and followed the comments on here, with great interest, for several years now.

IMHO, Rafa was not meant to beat kyrgios. He was expected to lose!

Sam Querry, is ‘their’ last physical hope of stopping Rafa. Rafa will need to play smart against Sam, as his team will have analysed Rafa’s games very closely throughout his matches.

And Sam has admitted he is not scared of Rafa or Novak….but only Roger!

As long as Rafa can adapt and counteract Sam’s play-making shots, he should come out on top.

IMHO, should Rafa overcome this last ‘obstacle’, HE WILL WIN this Grand Slam Title…..unless we see another underhanded tactics being employed against him, during these last 3 matches, as was evident at last year’s Wimbledon match against Novak.

This is only my opinion, of course, and I could be wrong….however, I strongly believe that Rafa has the mental, physical & emotional strengths to see this through, considering all the odds stacked against him, from his relegation to 3rd seed, to the toughest draw of the top 3.

    Vamos! God speed dear Rafa!

  4. I really hope and hope that Rafa finally comes through and wins the championship as he, a real champion deserves. But, step by step – ball by ball.

Rafa I can’t describe how happy I’d be if you go through Novak and roger and ha e the championship in your hands, biting it as usual.

    👍👍👍🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀😍😍😘😘❤️❤️🍀🍀🍀

  5. To my fellow Rafa fans, please help!!!

Rafa is playing brilliantly, I couldn’t be more thrilled, But, but, but…

I’ m still having recurrent nightmares about what happened in Aus Open final this year. I never saw Rafa play better for 6 rounds, and then disaster.

Now it’s W, Rafa is playing great again, and I’m terrified.

Positive comments please from Rafa fans – this is an SOS!!

    • It really doesn’t matter how this tournament goes because He hasn’t won aus open and wimby for 10 and 9 years respectively. I think he is playing his best tennis this season after 2013 season and he can give us a pleasant surprise to all of us by beating both fed and Nole and taking revenge for aus open finals from both of them after giving A well earned lesson to Querry
Last 11 slams he is the most consistent performer of big 3

      • I ll be over the moon if he beats both of them here because media hype is so much of this tournament always… Maybe I am too excited but if you look closely to his every point he is playing excellent tennis so for in this year’s Wimbledon

      • I’m with you my guy! I hope Rafa comes through Querrey, then takes on Federer and beats him in his backyard.

Turning the tables against Djokovic will not be easy, but Rafa wouldn’t show up if EASY was stamped all over his draw.

        Our champ can do it!!

    • Calm down Michele… He’s got it!! Rafa is playing lights out tennis… He knows exactly what he needs to do…

      Breathe in….breathe out… It’s all good… 🙂

      • Hi, Marileena

Will try and follow your advice!! Meanwhile, everything crossed for this afternoon.

  6. Sam Querrey is a dangerous opponent who is a hard hitter with big serve too but if Rafa could handle his second round opponent, I believe he should be fine tomorrow. He has been serving well and playing well👍Keep it going Rafa, stay strong, focused and aggressive and serve well! Good luck🍀 Vamos💪❤️

  7. Everything will be good for us if somehow Rafa beats the draw and Wimbledon organizers.. It would be a great relief for all of us… Vamos Rafa
You are our hero win or loss does not matter now

  8. While we’ve all been focusing on Rafa and Fed’s draws, has anyone looked at Djoko’s ?

I’ve been watching W for 40 years, and don’t remember anyone, in all that time, having an easier draw, let alone a top seed.

I hope people won’t rush to tell me it’s not Djoko’s fault, it’s the luck of the draw, etc etc.

I know all that, I’m just making the comment.

    • Djokovic unbelievably easy draw…. but Federer s even easier – as always. Wimbledon favouritism to Federer every year and if like last year he was knocked out then Wimbledon favour Djokovic – to make sure Rafa does not catch up on Feds GS total ….it stinks!! Remember ‘the roof’ decision last year Djokovic v Rafa ….. it was shameful.

    • I have too and decided he’s had it way too easy. I hope Rafa blasts him away in the final. TAKE THAT DJOKOVIC!

      RAFA ROCKS

    • RBA beat Djokovic twice this year, Doha and Miami. Goffin has a win over Djoker at MC plus he was in the final at Halle.
Both of them have a capacity to upset him.
Not sure why you think Djokovic has easy draw

      • Not on grass, they don’t.

Kohlschreiber was the toughest, but is now in the veteran stage.

As for Hurkacz and Humbert, really? You think they’re as tough as Kyrgios? And you’re forgetting Cilic and Thiem. Yes, they were eliminated before they got to Rafa, but I suggest that both of them were tougher than Lajovic, Monfils and rookie AAliassime, who Djoko had in his quarter, before they were in turn eliminated. And by no stretch could Goffin /Pella /B Agut be described as grass court players, whereas both Querrey and Fed certainly are.

I look at draws from when they first come out, and that’s how I judge their toughness. You can’t second guess who may be knocked out, you can only go by what you see when they come out, to make an evaluation.

So I stand by what I said, Djoko’s draw was the easier.

      • Michele, I agree with you!
Djoker has the easiest draw between the Big Three.
