  1. Great hot shots! They just illlustrate how confident Rafa is feeling at the moment. His forehand and backhand look sound overall and he’s getting closer to the Rafa of old. He seemed very happy in the post match interview. He never underestimates his fellow opponents and Nishioka is no exception. The draw will get increasingly more difficult from now on, so I agree with Vy that Rafa needs to play even more aggressively. I like the way that he’s mixing up his game and standing closer to the baseline when receiving serve. The Moyà effect is clear to see! Vamos Rafa 😍👍💪

    • Yeah, let’s! Can’t wait for Sunday. Should they meet I really want Rafa to be extra aggressive this time and attack the net more often. His net play is so underrated – I have no doubt it’s the most effective in the current singles field (yeah, better than Federer’s and pure S&Vers) and often wonder why he didn’t come to the net more.
