As Korean car brand Kia’s global brand ambassador, Rafael Nadal participated in the Kia Fleet Handover ceremony at the Australian Open with tournament director Craig Tiley and Kia Motors Australia COO Tony Barlow. Kia has been a major sponsor of the grand slam since 2002 and provides over 100 vehicles yearly.
Besides participating in the ceremonial key exchange, Rafa also raced mini Kia cars with ballkids on the Kia Rally race track, and seemingly did a little bit of Armani-esque modeling, by the looks of one photo (but don’t hold us to it).
