China Open 2013: Final photos

“I didn’t see the way to stop him this afternoon. This afternoon he was too strong for me. I didn’t play my best match this afternoon, but he played at a very high level with his serve. I was not able to have any chance when I was returning during the whole match”, said Rafa.

“He had the ball staying very low. It was very difficult to create spin on this ball. He was able to hit all the balls where he wanted. When that’s happening against a player like Novak, you are dead. You don’t have not one chance.”

“I am back at the No. 1, something that I really thought that I would never have the chance to be back there,” Rafa said. “I’m playing one of the best seasons of my career, probably one of the more emotional years, if not the most for so many facts.”

  1. Amo la humildad de tus comentarios al ser derrotado,tu forma de perder también habla muy bien tu cada vez te admiro más si es que eso es posible
Bendiciones y felicidades siempre serás el primero

  2. I am sad… but I think at this spring.. at the lose in Monte Carlo and the important win (the semi final) in Rolland Garros. Maybe (I hope badly) that situation will repeat and Rafa will win in Shanghai even if he lost in Beijing. I know that he is human being but all of us want more more victories…I am happy to see him playing. It’s like a drug…. one more match.. one more win.. one more match… He’s our champion forever!!!! Vamos RAFA!!!!
