Rafael Nadal looked handsome in orange as he took to the courts mid-afternoon to practice on Tuesday at the Western and Southern Open. His hitting partner was João Sousa of Portugal. Rafa practiced a full two hours, working on his lobs, volleys, strokes and sequences before ending with a practice set. He then patiently signed autographs.
Rafa faces Benjamin Becker of Germany later today. Vamos!

Who was the young boy on the court with Rafa that day? He (the boy) was also on the practice courts with Rafa the next couple of days and was in the stands with Rafa’s coach last night for the Federer / Nadal match.
That might have been Francisco Roig’s son.
