7-time former champion Rafael Nadal extended his Barcelona winning streak to 36 matches by beating Benoit Paire 7-6, 6-2 in the 3rd round.
The match was originally scheduled for Thursday but was postponed due to rain. If the weather holds up, Rafa will play either Kei Nishikori or Albert Ramos later today in the quarterfinals.

i think we might have found Baby Djokovic in Benoit Paire today. Same crisp backhand winners, same temperamental issues, same taking the ball early to hurt Rafa, and same serve and volley tactic and attacking Rafa’s backhand. His excellent volleying will do him good at Wimbledon. Rafa kept calm and collected and turned it around in the tie break and second set #VamosRafa 😀
