  1. Good news that tests on Rafa’s back have revealed there is no serious injury and he is fit to practice.
My feeling is that he should only play Monte Carlo or Barcelona then Rome before Roland Garros.
Whatever Rafa decides to do in the lead up to RG, he shouldn’t go all guns blazing, so that he gives himself the best chance of one last major. However, knowing our champ, he doesn’t believe in half measures and will want to give his best.

    • Rafa is on the Monte Carlo masters entry list. Hoping Rafa comes back strong in his first clay event in almost two years.

Rafa also says he could play after this year. I feel he wants to play for as long as he feels competitive. Stay healthy Rafa!

  2. Personally I don’t think Rafa would play at the French Open unless he is fit to play at a high level at one of his usual stops on the clay swing. If he can’t get fit then he will let his fans know. If he is fit he we would probably continue so that he could play at Roland Garris in the Olympics. Rafa would not make winning the French Open his only priority. Rafa enjoys competition and that is completely dependent on getting fit. I think that’s all he cares about – he can either get fit to play or not.

  3. I get the feeling that he’s going go to Roland Garry’s and if he doesn’t make Final/Semifinal That will put an END to it.
He’s got a son now and all that goes into recovery and play just isn’t as big of a deal now….
Carlos Alcarez will have to carry the torch for Spain for now…..

  4. I was there to watch him play for the first time. 🙁 I was hoping to see Rafa play one time before he retires, but I don’t know if that will happen for me now. Not unless I spend way more to go to Europe for the first time to see him play on clay because who knows if he comes back to America or not. I keep hoping he will, but we don’t know if his body will allow him to 🙁

  5. Thank you for always being gracious and accommodating to your fans and colleagues.
We want you to have the finale that you truly deserve. It is a joy to see how comfortable
you are with the press and followers in Indian Wells. All the best🫶❤️🎾
