The draw has been made for the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event in Montreal.

  2. Just saw an interesting cllip of Rafa’s pre-tournament press conference…in which he says
“There are plenty of players here that are great players and I just need to be the same thing than if both of them are here… I just have to prepare myself as good as possible and try to be ready for the action”

So I imagine Rafa is preparing mentallyand physically for any opponent that comes his way, the same way he would if Roger and Novak were there…

Stay mentally tough Rafa… All the rest will fall into place….

    VAMOS RAFA!!!

  3. Dan Evans is the qualifier drawn against Alex de Minaur in the first round. That match is not on the schedule for today, so I assume it’s tomorrow and Rafa will play the winner of it on Wednesday.

According to the tournament director, the court has been slowed down slightly this year and has a high bounce 😉

    Vamos Rafa!

  4. Just saw a video of Rafa’s first practice in Montreal, which was on one of the larger courts allowing so
many fans to watch….. so nice…
He looks so strong.. His arms…wow!! He’s ready!

    VAMOS RAFA!!

  5. The draw does not look easy, but it is not realistic to expect one. I was just relieved that Kyrgios was not on Rafa’s half. Not because I think he would beat Rafa, but to avoid all of the hype. I am just happy that Rafa seems to be feeling good. That is the most important thing.

    • Totally fully agree art Kyrgios NOT being in draw for Rafa…he is nothing but an insult to professional tennis…I TOTALLY DREAD SEEING HIM on court at all.

  6. A VERY manageable draw for our world No. 2.

Good luck to Rafa and a successful defense of his title. He can do it.

    RAFA ROCKS

  10. well, “Demon” looked like a lot of hype last time before Rafa squashed him. I don’t think Goffin’s height helps him against the high-bounce ball of Rafa’s either. Tsitsipas/Nishikori may give him trouble on grass, but I don’t see it elsewhere. Fabio’s only strong point is his unorthodox nature, which can be significant. I don’t see him losing in the final if he arrives there. Go champ Go!

  11. The draw looks ok, with De Minaur looming in R2; but De Minaur is still playing at Citi Open in doubles so I doubt he’s fresh and ready for Montreal. There’s a qualifier lurking in R2, I hope is not a dangerous player.

Other than that, I think Rafa’s draw is manageable for him when it’s his first HC event after Wimbledon. All the big servers, hard hitters, promising young guns (except Tsitsipas) are in the other half of the draw.

Vamos Rafa, best wishes for defending the HC Masters title.

    • Could have been worse. Zverev has a tougher draw but at the same time anything can happen. And its HC just pray for an injury free tournament and a good build up to US Open. VAMOS

  12. Good luck Rafa🍀❤️
Looking forward to see you lift the trophy on Sunday, Vamos Rafa!💪
