World number two Rafael Nadal eases past Richard Gasquet 6-4 7-6(1) 6-2 to set up a meeting with Novak Djokovic in the US Open final.
Rafa needed just two hours and 20 minutes to dismiss Gasquet for the 11th straight time and set up a 37th meeting with world number one Djokovic, a record in the Open era.
“It has been two amazing weeks for me. Novak is an amazing competitor he is one of the best players I have ever seen. He is a great champion, it will be a tough final for me but I will try and be ready.”, Rafa said.
