The Wimbledon draw is out, and it is just as exciting (or perhaps unsettling) as anticipated. Rafael Nadal is to play in the same quarter as Roger Federer and the same half as Andy Murray, setting up the promised blockbuster quarter final and semi final that has been much talked about in the past few days. Novak Djokovic is the same half as David Ferrer.

Rafa’s first round opponent is Steve Darcis of Belgium. His R2 opponent will be the winner of Lukasz Kubot – Igor Andreev, with a possible third round match against Benoit Paire and fourth against Stanislas Wawrinka.

Murray, Federer and Rafa will all be playing on day 1 (Monday). For perspective on the big 4 and how their standings stack up, read this article via ATP.

Vamos, Rafa!

  1. Can anyone know whether he will play in Center Court or Court 1 on Monday? I am trying to decide if I try my luck and go to Wimbledon on Monday. Any help will be appreciated.
