Rafa Roundup: May 19, 2013

“Eight finals in a row is wonderful. Four to five months ago it was impossible to think about this. I hope to play very well. Any result will be fantastic.”

It will be the first meeting in a final between the two since the 2011 French Open, where Nadal prevailed 7-5, 7-6, 5-7, 6-1. Nadal leads the head to head 19-10 with a 12-2 edge on clay.

“I hope this time I have a better chance than at Indian Wells, where things were a bit difficult for me. He’s had an incredible comeback, so I’m really happy for him. But someone has got to stop him, so I hope it’s me.”
