Thank goodness Rafa is in the QF’s. Can’t say I wasn’t worried but Rafa pulled through.
Four of the youngsters are also in the QF’s:
Sitsipas
FAA
Sinner
Rublev
Diego and Norrie, who are 28- and 25-years-old respectively, are still in it to win it.
The second set was as bad as I’ve ever seen Rafa play. At one point he was off balance bouncing the ball preparing to serve and I thought he might fall over. What a terrible funk he was in.
Then he comes back from O-40 in the first game of the third set! Tomorrow could be the day he returns to form!
Go Rafa!
4-2 final set. Hold on Rafa.
GOOG LUCK RAFA.
Kei can be dangerous when he is fit. Be fitter.
Margo’s right. Kei is dangerous. That 5th game of the second set was scary. Somehow Rafa wins it.
Rafa had a lucky escape yesterday. I’m not sure what’s going on, as he doesn’t look like he’s enjoying being on court. He’s far from confident and isn’t playing with a free arm. Rafa is also much more animated when he loses a point – hands on hips, head in hands, replaying shot motions.
I’m hoping for a better start from our champ today and that he finds his first serve, otherwise it’s going continue to be an uphill battle.
Looking forward to see my Champ shines like a morning star, maziiiiiiiwe my champ, vavas to the mos
