  1. I really hope Rafa plays Miami. I’ve heard him say in an interview that winning Miami wouldn’t be a career defining thing for him. It is one of the few Majors he hasn’t won though. Also Paris, which isn’t in the list but hopefully Rafa goes for Paris. Plus of course the WTF.

These are the tournaments which are still missing from the CV, so he can achieve the “Career Golden, Major, Super Slam”. Singles Olympic Gold, all Majors, all Grand Slams and WTF.

He hasn’t won Shanghai indoors but that tournament replaced Madrid Masters indoors which he won in 2005. In 2008, everything was changed to the current 250, 500, 1000 point system and loads of tournaments changed location, points and surfaces.

Some may argue that Shanghai is needed to complete the exuberant title mentioned above but I don’t think he needs Shanghai to be worthy of the above title. It would also be a title that neither Roger nor Djokobitch have achieved.

Ah, don’t forget Spain’s Davis cup victories. Pundits will have to think of a name for winning all the above plus being in a Davis Cup winning team, more than once.

It’s three titles, Miami, Paris, WTF. It’s doable, especially for such an amazing player as Rafa.

  2. Hello,

    This is Alberto from Malaga.

I am going to the US Open to watch Rafa but I don’t know which day should I buy. Any tips? I am thinking about 2nd or 3rd September for the Men’s 3rd Round. Gracias 🙂

      • Rafaelmadalfans any tips?

I can imagine Amy and I waiting for the info until the last minute xD

      • Hi Nancy! I appreciate your message, thanks. I arrive to NY on 2nd Sept, so I will take your recommendation and go for round of 16 on 6th Sept. Hopefully he will be there teaching us another lesson of strength and ambition (if his physical condition allows it) 😊

    • Rafa please keep calm while playing against Djokovic. when he play lose ball attack him. Play as machine as Djokovic used to play

  3. RAFA I have been following you since you FIRST STARTED……wearing those white “PANTALOONS” I knew you were a STAR then and I still believe you are the BEST! i NOW SEE OTHERS THAT TRY TO COPY YOUR STYLE EVEN WITHIN THEIR GAME….but SO FAR …no one can compare.. …….!!!!!!!!!

  4. Wishing Nadal a speedy recovery and hope comes back in great shape again just like in AO2022, and win Madrid or Rome and ultimately – RG 2022!

  5. VAMOS RAFA!!!!!!
You are the Best of the Best!
We are rooting for you here in Miami.
There’s NO DOUBT YOU CAN DO THIS!
Looking forward to your win at Indian Wells and seeing you at the Miami Open!

  6. Nadal has to play agaist in form, Compatriot Alcaraz in Semi Finals. It appears a difficult contest as Alcaraz has not dropped a Set so far whereas Nadal has dropped two sets. All of Nadal’s fans should pray for Nadal as his winning Indian Wells is important.!!
