I like to play Tennis, and my favorite player is Rafa Nadal. I think that Rafa is a warrior, always is playing better, year by year and each day better and i am learning from him

Dear Rafa,
I meant to write to you after the Australian Open. Congratulations on adding Carlos Moya to your training team. Excellent move and about time! I realize you came close but let’s be frank here, if Joker and Andy were still playing neither you nor Federer would have played in the finals. Which brings me to my main point. I have noticed improvement in your serve and also have noticed you had a different grip, which helped strengthen your serve. Good job! I know for sure you want to win another Grand Slam but easier said than done. You are still playing your OLD game (Top spin + Power) which in these days doesn’t really have the same old impact on elite players. Everybody adjusted to that these days.
I am your biggest fan ever and would love to see you win the French Open for the 10th time Rafa, but I don’t see it, because your timing is wrong. You need to take the ball much earlier. It’s all about timing. Once you start doing that, you will be a force to reckon with, again.

Hello Rafa,
I have written to you before on this forum, but since I can’t take it anymore, and as your biggest fan ever (at least I used to be) I have to get it of my chest! I’m so disappointed in you my friend. It seems you have made a decision not to change your game. Look around you, all the champs have changed their game somehow, except you. You keep playing the same old way. Well guess what? it doesn’t work anymore. Top spin is something of the past, it used to be your best weapon, but everybody adjusted to it. Now you are getting beaten by second class players !?

It’s time to change. Your serve is OK but it doesn’t constitute a weapon, maybe you need to change your toss. You are so predictable, almost everybody knows where your next shot is going. You take too much time to make your shots, that gives your opponents time to adjust. Often, you get caught watching the ball, instead of getting back in position. Your game is one dimensional not versatile. Power and top spin won’t take you far anymore. I think you need more flat shots and better timing on your shots. I realize you have injuries, but that’s not the only problem as I see it, my dear friend. You need to approach the game in a different mindset and way. You have to admit, you need outside help. Just like Murray, Federer, Joker, Nishikori and others have done.

Don’t be stubborn and selfish! You recently said:” family comes before tennis”. That is the most disappointing statement you have ever made. You MUST remember that you have fans around the world and you owe it to them to start winning more grand slams. Uncle Tony can’t help you out anymore. You have to make a decision.
