“It means a lot for me to have this trophy one more time, the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award. I’m going to put this trophy next to the other ones in a very special place here,” said Nadal, speaking from the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar’s museum in Manacor.

“Thank you very much to all my colleagues on Tour for thinking that I am the right one to receive this sportsmanship award. When someone asks me how I want to be remembered, I always answer, ‘I want to be remembered [as] a good person more than a good tennis player.’ That’s why this trophy means a lot.”

During Federer’s time away from the game, Nadal equalled his record of 20 men’s Grand Slam singles titles by landing his 13th French Open crown. But Federer has explained how the two old rivals would often keep in touch with each other. The 39-year-old says Nadal would endeavour to find out how he was during his recovery.

“I talked a lot with Rafael Nadal,” Federer told Schweizer Illustrierte.

“Because we are on the Players’ Council, we had to keep talking to each other: What is best for the sport? How can we bring it forward?

“We also called during the tough lockdown in Spain. And he asked me how I was doing after the operation.”

An Infosys ATP Insights deep dive into 88,640 first serves and second serves struck by the current Top 10 identifies that Nadal has won 58.5 per cent of all serves that are returned in the court against him.

  1. When I learnt how to make first aid movements, when I gave my blood, I intend to save people without discriminations.

If you consider that the majority of people living in these buildings since years showing only good faces, making good impressions, are retired or not afraid to lose their jobs because working as state employees, you can imagine that they have only few limits.

  2. Congratulations !

If this can help celebrities, I can share with you maybe how they know all that you are doing.
I know that even before I leave my flat, people inside my building know that I am leaving. The building has become extremely silent even if there are a lot of young people and students living there. I can hear noises from my neighbors’ flats. Holes have been made in my ceiling.

When I leave my place, I can see some people living here for a while, are going outside the buildings and some that I usually don’t know, mostly young people, coming inside my building, at the same time as me, invited or having the entrance pass.

Building 1 and 2 give the “go”. According to the people who go outside, I will be near similar people in the train. For example, yesterday, I could see a man who had insulted me years before, for no reason (they are a lot of nice people here). I have seen him very much lately, sometimes with his dog, sometimes alone. Yesterday and the days before, I could see a lot of people looking like her wife.
There were also people from building 2 with white hair coming out the building with someone else. Then, I could see some people with white hair or people going by pair, lately.
From building 1 and 2, you can be seen by people in the other buildings, like mine.

They don’t need to phone each other. During the lockdown, they have communicated through a website, to make a videoconference. I did not participate to this or they can go and ring at the interphone and take the stairs.

They are few people who have my phone number. One pretended he wanted to buy my parking place and another one probably still leaving there, I guess.

Even if I don’t participate to the visioconference, I am sure that they have access to my email adress and maybe some messages sent on it, are not for me but for people who want to get information about my claims. I still can not explain why people coming from nowhere, are sending me messages from a social network whose access had been closed from more than one year.

About my participation to associations, I have spent a lot of time to help people in this town without any discriminations. I can not say that we have been integrated here. On day, the deal was to prepare a dish for the town employees and responsibles in order to go together on a trip. I have not been accepted and they went without me.
Anyway, I kept on trying to help people around without discriminations and I collected school supplies for Haiti people. As I was young, I also helped elderly people and so on and even launched some ideas for them on a famous social network years ago.

As my family and I kept on living bad experiences here, I wrote to the town responsible. He answered that I only talked about people from North Africa, which is absolutely false. I think the origin of our problems here don’t come from North African people but from responsibles.
That’s the way it is here. People don’t seem to appreciate others who go along with anyone. They prefer to launch gossips, create tensions, instead of trying to make people live in harmony.

About other associations, I had also bad experiences with another one very close from the mayor house. In fact, I used to walk there, near the district were they first accepted only my little one at the beginning, letting me going from a district to another, during one year, as I was working more than one hour from here.

About the people I met in public transport, they are similar to the ones from my buildings, who are going out at the same time like me. Bus stops those days, in the same district mentionned before to take some people or just let other cars passed.

In the bus, it is not easy to validate your ticket. I used to buy ticket and I could not valide them. They were not accepted by the machine. Still not easy to valide my ticket, because some people put their bags or stand in front of the machine or the bus driver does not open all the doors, machine is not open. Not easy to find a seat neither. I usually can not sit where I want. Either stand with the risk to fall with hard brakings or I sit in the left places with the risk not to be able to go out because people take their time to go out. I could not go out, missed the stop and have to walk with my bags after I went to the supermarket, people stand in front of the door and let people enter the bus before you go out.
Last time, a man walked on purpose on my feet.

There are a lot of insecurity in bus but I think the company does not care about security of people.
I can not think all of these are pure coincidences.

I wanted to share with you how it goes since years here and how people can know exactly what you are doing, where you are going and if you are like me suffering from a disease, how they will make you live bad experiences.

By the way, the people here know about my disease, and I still meet a lot of people smoking near me, with the smoke of their cigarettes filled your cloths.

    That’s the way it is.

Someone told me that the former mayor has not studied a lot. Still, I don’t know how he managed to be promoted that way. Maybe, he has done a lot of great things for the town. I don’t know.

For me, studying does not mean necessarily that you will make great things. I think If you like people and want to improve their lifes, if you are sincere with people, if you are passionate at least, I think you can do a lot of good things.
