World No. 2 Rafael Nadal has booked his place in the last four of the ATP Tour Finals by beating Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 at London’s O2 Arena.
The result means that Rafa, who will face Russian Daniil Medvedev on Saturday, has now reached the semi-final stage of the season-ending event on six occasions.
After the match, Rafa said:
“I think I played quite well for such a long time. That game at 5-4 in the second set affected me a little bit, but then I was able to get the break early in the third, then he broke me and I broke again.
“I was winning serves quite comfortably until that moment, after that everything changed and I started to serve worse.
“But in general terms it was a positive match for me. To reach the semi-finals in the last tournament of the year is an important thing.”
The bus arrived late, at 16h10 at the bus station, stop on his way to let the lady go outside, near her place, I guess and we arrived about half an hour later at my bus stop. Here we are, I could see no owners outside when I went out but still I could see a lot of cars driving very fast. I went to buy some food. Arriving at the bus stop, there were no information on the board. Not easy to read those on paper. Asked a young lady, she did not know. About this lady, the bus stop especially for her, always in the same district, either on the side where there is the school or this side near the school where my little one had been admitted.
I can tell you that I did not know that some bus driver were also taxi. As I arrived next to my place, a fireman car used his horn, not long, just enough to warn some cars whose drivers seemed to be very pleased. Same age as the owners here.
About the shutters who are doing noise at home. It is really strange. My neighbor on the above floor does not seem to open theirs. About my doors which had been damaged. Sometimes they are squeaking, sometimes not. I wonder if there are some actors living in the surrondings as the town next to my place used to be chosen for historical films and they are partners of at least one of the companies in chemical field, I used to work with.
Let’s see if the elderly people I have met in the bio shop last time with the trolley full of products, will continue to help stores and people here. I had few products because I don’t have my car anymore but I used to spend a lot of money in the country, in the town. I don’t know if they can say the same. Not all are the same but in the past, I have had a lot of bad experiences with some of them. One woman from the district near the bakery hit me for no reason, broke my glasses. I had been injured. I went to the hospital in which some of the owners are working. Bad luck. I gave her address and her car number and she had had no problem. She had the same car like mine. This was in 2010.
I could hear a man who was present, telling her that she won’t have any problem. He was true.
Do you think this is normal that someone can hit you, without having any problem ? It is possible in this place.
A rollercoaster second set, and unfortunately Rafa failed to close it out. He played a terrible service game and let Daniil back in……Rafa gave his all, but not good enough today😬 Congratulations to Daniil👏
