After confirming his status as year-end world No 1 at the ATP Finals in London, Rafael Nadal has arrived in Madrid, where he will compete at the Davis Cup.
He attended the Gala Dinner with his teammates to celebrate the beginning of a new historic format, gathered in the Crystal Gallery of the Cibeles Palace in Madrid at the Tournament Official Dinner.

The teams will compete in six round-robin groups of three teams with the six group winners plus the two second-placed teams with the best record based on sets and games won advancing to the quarterfinals. It’s then a classic knockout to see which country can win the Davis Cup.
