ATP Finals 2019: What time does Rafael Nadal play against Daniil Medvedev in London?

After losing his opening match at the ATP Finals, Rafael Nadal hopes to rescue his campaign as he takes on Daniil Medvedev in his second round-robin match on Wednesday.

It’s a repeat of their epic US Open final, which Rafa won in five sets.

Rafa has a perfect 2-0 head-to-head record against the 2019 US Open finalist with both of those wins occuring in 2019.

Rafa is looking to finish year-end No. 1 for the fifth time and draw even with Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer. The top seed currently leads Novak Djokovic by 440 points in the battle for year-end No. 1.

  3. Rafa is usually very polite and cordial with tge press, but last night was different. After a heavy defeat, he was asked in the post match presser if his recent wedding affected his concentrtion. Rafa slammed the question as “bull***t” and closed down any further questions from the English speaking press. I’ve heard of dumb questions and that has to be one of the dumbest, especially to someone as focused as Rafa.

  4. After the loss to Zverev, Rafa has to face this guy? I guess that’s why it’s the WTF… Best 8 in the world, doesn’t get any tougher than this.

    • Yes. Rafa has his work cut out against Medvedev. It’s going to be more of the same, so he’d better have something in his arsenal to hit back strongly.
