  1. Let the world and its mother comment, criticise or jump up & down..our Champion has nothing to or need to worry over the outcome of the SF.

  2. As I write this, Roger is down at 1 set to Djokovic’s 2 sets, 2 all in the fourth set.

Now, an OBJECTIVE look at the road to the final, I feel Roger had a more difficult road to reach the final than Rafa, if you look at their opponents. Not the seeds, mind you, the men they had to play.

Rafa played only one seeded opponent while Roger played against four, not counting Djokovic:

    Rafa: Sugita #274; Kyrgios #43; Tsonga #72; Sousa #69, Querry #65, Federer #3.

    Roger: Harris #86; Clarke #169; Pouille #27; Berrittini #17; Kai #8, Rafa #2.

    Just the facts.

  3. Wimby’s singles champion Simona Halep’s coach Daniel Dobre commented on her win:

“It’s unbelievable, not the victory, but the way she played because it was not Serena playing bad, it was Simona playing unbelievable. She won the match by herself.”

    You go Simona. Well done.

  4. I used to admire Federer so much because apart from his game I always considered him a gentleman. Of course, when they payed together I always wanted Rafa to win. The 2017 AO final made me changed my mind about Federer. Considering that he had had two days rest and Rafa had a very hard and long match the day before, and RF decides that his legs “are a bit tired” he goes off court for 20 minutes, I wonder if he had some “other” treatment in that time. And now, in Wimbledon his seeding is changed for the detriment of Rafa and he’s quite happy with that!! He seems to be treated as the “Golden boy” Why? Has he got friends in high places???
