Si pleased that his amigo Feliciano Lopez has won in the semis in Queens 😀 progresses to the final tomorrow. Hope for him as he won it in 2017 😃👑 I wrote him a card of congrats. and gavé it to him and Marc in R Garros after their doubles match . Feli has progressed in the Queens doubles 😀 with Andy Murray , I hope he wins both, Rafa also I think 😉 Fiona in Paris
Yes, he did win both, Enhorabuena Feli Lopez 😃👑 with Murray in the doubles the same day I prayed for him. I said Rafa must be pleased for him too 😀 a Spanish player friend in Queens it gives them confidence for Wimbledon. Fiona in Paris Also he saw Real Mallorca ⚽ win in Palma yesterday Sunday, thé vidéoclip is good of him cheering with his father.
Yes, Rafa has just saïd in a Spanish interview that he is muy feliz 😃 for Feliciano , he watched the matches on TV 😉 Fiona in Paris

We must remember that Rafa is a professional tennis player. While money is probably far down the list of the reasons he continues to play it still offers some incentive. These exhibitions pay handsome appearance fees for a less stressful workout than an actual tournament. He has no doubt rated the risk vs. the reward and feels it’s worth a go.
Well looky here. We may have our 3rd time Wimbledon champion right here and now. Rafa looks fit, healthy and ready to take that title.
Good luck for Wimbledon.
Rafa is one hell of a guy. Always play fair and shows great sportsmanship.
VAMOS SWEETHEART!!!!!!!!!:) YOU LOOK SO FIT AND HANDSOME OUT THERE……GORGEOUS PHOTOS!!!!!!!:) VERY ATTRACTIVE COMBINATION….. …….BEARD…..AND SUCH HUNKY SLEEVESS ………VAMOS SWEETHEART AND GO RAFA GO!!!!!!!:) ENJOY YOUR PRECIOUS PREPARATION AND HAVE LOTS OF FUN!!!!!!!!!!!:) XOXOXOXOXO
Yes , these are super photos of him training under the sun 🌞 in Calvia Mallorca and the vidéoclips from IB3 the local TV Channel. I sent him a message that I was pleased he did not go to Queens 😉 better to stay on the grass in Calvia ☺ However, I also hoped he would not bother with Hurlingham either as these pré matches are not positive 😯Look what happened last year beaten by Pouille , it must be discouraging 😡to have that happen before Wimb starts by a player lower in the ranking. 😕 I don t know why they bother with these so called exhibition matches 😕 Fiona in Paris

Fiona, Rafa does the exhibition matches because he has “to re-learn how to play on grass”, his words.
I learned from Rafa, by reading his words, that practice is not the same as playing against another player in a tournament, one doesn’t get the same benefits as one does in competition. Instead of a tournament he chose, again, to play at Hurlingham in preparation for Wimbledon.
Yes, he lost to Pouille last year at Hurlingham but he did very well in reaching the semifinals at Wimbledon. 2018’s semifinals appearance was Rafa’s best performance since 2011 when he reached the final but lost to Djokovic.
He seems super excited about this Wimbledon because of how close he came last year. I am cheering him on.

Does anyone know if Rafa is going to play a couple of exhibition matches before Wimbledon?
No, I don’t think so! Rafa said that he would not play again before Wimbledon!
YB, Rafa did say that he would “probably” play a couple of matches before Wimbledon.
By now you may know that he’s playing in Hurlingham next week.
