Australian Open 2019: Rafa’s profile

Champion at Melbourne Park in 2009, Rafael Nadal has lost three other finals since – to Novak Djokovic in 2012, to Stan Wawrinka in 2014 when hindered by a back injury and two years ago to Federer.

Rafa now truly believes he can add an 18th major to his CV in his first event in four months.

Vamos Rafa!

  6. It would be awesome if Rafa claimed the title . If he gets over week one I feel that he has every chance . Wishing him every good wish and a bit of luck. Vamos Rafa

  7. He has not looked good in his return from injury and surgery. I am not expecting him to win this years Aussie maybe next year if he is FULLY healthy. I expect Roger or Chokovic to win. If Rafa can prove me wrong boy I will be so damn happy, but he has not looked good. I can see him winning the French again with the adequate time to fully heal from this thigh muscle tear. If not Rafa, hopefully a young gun. But hopefully RAFA, VAMOS!!!
