I am Rafa’s greatest fan but I don’t think he should play in Saudi Arabia, a country he shouldn’t be identified with. I know sportsman try not to get into politics, but there is a minimum of respect for humanity.

Oh dear, another opportunity for Novak to smack our good, old Rafa again!!!!!
Thankfully, it’s only an exhibition match, so it doesn’t count.

    But, as always, we’d see…………………hmmn

Do you not have a life? You poor, sad lonely thing. But still… who are we to keep you from your only source of attention and exercising your bitterness in such a pathetic and pointless way. After all, I’m sure you find yourself amusing, however brief the moment.

Oh dear! I’m a little alarmed about the political backlash on Rafa’s twitter account on his decision to play in SA. I really don’t know what to think. Is it a human rights issue or are he and Novak merely giving something to the sports loving masses over there and therefore opening society up? Personally I think sports and politics can be kept separate and the fans there seem almost desperate to see him. I sincerely hope this is a storm in a tea cup but some of the responses are really ugly:(

Will it be on hard courts, clay, or grass? Will it be indoor or outdoor? Will it be day or night? What is prize money? Is Rafa’s knee ok yet? Anyone know if he is training?
