  1. Rafa only lost because he got tired in my opinion he played outstanding tennis
Rafa will win another 4 or 5 slams before
He retires I’m just enjoying watching
The greatest tennis player that’s ever lived

  2. Rafa King of Tennis #1! – You should’ve and would’ve won under fair and square conditions. You played an amazing match champ and to me you are the winner! 🤗❤️
Keep being you Rafa – VAMOS! 🎾💪🏼😍🍀

  3. It still hurts I’m proud of Rafa .he play a very good set the scor it was 10 – 8 so clouse.for mi this is the finals .to bad ,Rafa get ready to play the US OPEN .your fans we want to see you play.love 🎾🎾🎾👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🎾🎾🎾👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍❤️❤️❤️❤️

  4. 1, they should have put the match on court one.. 2, they must bring in a tie break in 5th set (after say 10 games) It totally ruined the last semi and ultimately the final, as all the players were knackered! 3, Djoko knows Rafa doesn’t like the roof, so opted for it to be closed….had it been open, may well have seen a different result? (probably being biased coz i’m gutted my man wasn’t in the final). Didn’t watch the final either…why would I? Bet it was well boring?!! Love you Rafa. XX

    • Anne, I am gutted too, but in fairness, it was not possible to move the other semi. The tickets were for both semis and were quite expensive. In addition, Court 1 is 5,000 seats smaller. The answer was a five set TB, maybe to 9-9. I have never been a Novak fan, but I blame the Wimby organization for the roof decision. It was their decision and no player had a veto. They should have opened the roof for the fans!

      • I too agree that it is Wimbledon to blame for the closed roof on such a beautiful day. Isn’t the tournament the final arbiter, or am I missing something here?

I find it distressing that some find it necessary to play the blame game especially after a Rafa loss. I think 4 or 5 individuals have been blamed so far for the closed roof.

I am still looking for the facts. I do know Rafa said in the Spanish-language section of his presser he was told the match had to resume under the same conditions under which it started. As I am not a native Spanish-language speaker I have difficulty understanding when it is spoken so quickly. I plan to review the presser again to see if I can do better. I have read many Spanish versions of the presser but none of them covers it in full. And noticeably the important sections are missing. Yes, Rafa was giving them instructions on what to print.

Rafa is very capable of making himself understood in English. Just compare his post del Potro presser to his semifinal presser. It’s as if two different people was being interviewed. My guess is he does not trust the English-language press because of a few bad tabloids like the Daily Mail. Yellow journalism.

  5. Djokovic was out of breath after the match was called because of the 11 PM curfew… Had they continue to play, I believe it would’ve been much different, But another Wimby mess up.. they could’ve put them on court one when they saw the first game was going to last forever, they could’ve just rescheduled the entire match for Saturday since they knew at least half of it would have to be played then anyways, and they could’ve put Nole/Rafa 1st Instead of his Isner/Anderson, But nope… Instead tons of people got refunds and resells on their tickets, so the crowd that showed up Saturday was totally different than the one on Friday, who longed to see that match…Mess up all around, not to mention how slippery Center court was and probably all the courts..Anyone notice how rough I slipped and nearly hurt himself the point before Djokovic took match point?
They’ve barely showed it, but yeah that did happen…
Real nice for a semi final match of a grand slam!!
The fans and players deserved better!

    • Another point that was made was that they shd have stopped the match at 1 set all on Friday, so neither player would feel more pressure. They did not HAVE to play until 11, that was simply the time they would have to stop.

At one set all, I’m sure Rafa wd have had a better night’s sleep.

Wimbledon does just what it pleases, makes its own rules, and justifies it by saying they are a private club. So why not have used their discretion, and called the match off at one set all? That wd have been fair to both players, instead of putting extra pressure on Rafa. They knew the match wd have to finish the next day anyway, so why not use some common sense and fairness? Djoko got his way about the roof being closed, so why not give Rafa a fair deal?

  6. I think Novak had the advantage because of that dam roof being closed maid it more easy to slip and he new it . But its dont now Rafa will bring the Trophy back home next year if its ment to be your the best player i have ever sceen but you cant win them all its impossable to predict where that ball is going to land you try you best and thats all any one can ask of you and you all ways give it 200% RAFA and we love you .. and we are very proud of you … god bless you and your family always ..

    • I think those of us who supported Rafa from the very beginning of his Wimbledon quest can be happy for the great matches he played AND for reaching the semifinals. When I saw his smiling face today, it lifted the cloud that was hanging over me. I am now looking forward.

      RAFA ROCKS THE BOAT
