It’s always great to play in front of UK fans so I can’t wait to return.

I’m working hard and this is the perfect way to warm up for Wimbledon.

2018 marks the 25th anniversary of the Aspall Tennis Classic at Hurlingham, which over the years has become one of the world’s most star-studded tennis exhibitions. This year’s edition takes place from Tuesday, June 26 until Friday, June 29.

  1. Interesting…wondering why there would not be coverage by TSN etc in Canada. Especially as Rafa did not enter to play at Queens Club….like so many I look forward to seeing any tennis by Rafa, anywhere ,any time. To me he is the most interesting sportsman in the world…and I am 84 ……and know a good thing when I see it! Jean Palmer Winnipeg…Brit ex pat.

    • Hurlingham have confirmed they will be live streaming Rafa’s matches:

Cannot put full address in as it awaits ‘moderation’ from RNF.

‘aspall tennis classic’ on both their facebook and website.

      Schedule:
      Wednesday 27th June
At 2pm Maria Sharapova v TBC
Followed by Hyeon Chung v Rafael Nadal
      Not before 5:30pm Bahrami/Rusedski v Enqvist/Pernfors

  2. Rafa all the best with the exhibition matches.

i trust you get a really good draw for Wimbledon.

    Happy practicing.

    Love and prayers,

  3. Rafa will surely be the star at The Boodles but it’s not a one-man show. I know it’s only an exhibition but where is the challenge? He is preparing for a Grand Slam and I want him to win Wimbledon.

Chung hasn’t played on grass since 2015 if the LiveTennis stats are current. And Pouille is only a 54% win on grass.

Both Kyrgios and A. Zverev have a 67% grass-win stat.

    Dimitrov is a 64%.

    Tsitsipas is a 63%.

I just wish he had been paired with a challenging grass-court opponent. In any event, I hope he gets to practice whatever “special things for grass” he said he focused on during last week’s sessions at the Mallorca Open courts.

The ATP Wimbledon seedings should be out on Wednesday.

    RAFA ROCKS THE ONE-MAN SHOW

    • Margo, I am confused. I thought Rafa was playing Aspall not Boodles. The TC is showing Boodles, but not live. They are replaying parts of it in the evening. I still have not confirmed if Rafa’s match will be shown, at least in the US.

      • va4favre, my apologies, you’re not confused, it is I who screwed up. No excuses. I take full responsibility. Yes, Rafa at Aspall. As far as it being televised anywhere, I don’t know. Didn’t he play Aspall last year? For some reason I haveBoodles on the brain.

  4. Rafa why don’t you save your energy for Wimbledon alone? It would save you from getting hurt or do you need more practice on grass. best of luck Champ.

    • According to a tweet, a channel called FreeSports will be airing it live starting next Tuesday. No other info given.

I also saw something about it being on TennisTV. I don’t know if it’s streaming or live or what.

I clearly remember last year it was very difficult to find any info on The Boodles Tennis Championship.

      RAFA ROCKS 2018

    • va4favre: I’ve heard it will be live streamed on the Aspall (Hurlingham) Facebook page so make sure you check that out.

    • They have confirmed they are showing it live via both Facebook and Website. I have put the address in above but it is awaiting moderation from RNF. But Aspall tennis classic is easy to look up.

It is not on tennis TV:(

      Hope you enjoy!

  5. Suerte Rafa…k puedas seguir levantando màs trofeos…xk tu si k puedes…lo vales y naciste para ello…y los hechos lo demuestran…VAMOS Y SIEMPRE CONTIGO
