  4. So recently, Rafa hinted that he could skip Wimbledon. That would be sad if it happened. I honestly think Rafa could still pull it one more time. This year, Rafa added 6 gram to his racquet and you can see his strokes are even heavier than last year but the only problem is his serve. Rafa could not “control” his serve as his first serve percentage drops terribly.
    3-week is kinda short for Rafa’s team to fix the serve for the upcoming grass season but if they can do it then why not try for another time?
    I know the grass is a very agressive surface and not good for his knees but i don’t think he should skip it. After all, it’s a slam! Rafa is 32 now and he should take every chances to earn more non-clay slams.

      • Amberoxx – rafa said the wrapping on his wrists and fingers were cutting off his circulation and he got cramp. Nothing to worry about i hope

    • Much as I would love to see Rafa play and win all he can, I do think that precipitating another tournament especially on Grass may be “mort annoncé”i.e. needless humiliation. Would be better if he aimed for US Open eventually a second AO.
      Anyway, whatever he does, he is the best.

      Wamos Rafa, you are the best.

      • Do you know what you are talking about PUMA?

        Out of eleven tries, that’s 11, Rafa won 2 Wimbledons. For a surface that Rafa loves but historically has not done well on, his winning percent is 18.18%. Very low by Rafa standards for sure, but if he wants to play Wimby let him have some fun on grass. I don’t see any humiliation in that.

        In contrast, Roger won 1 FO, out of SEVENTEEN tries, that’s 17. If anyone were to be humiliated it would be Roger. His winning percent on clay is a mere 5.88%. And had he played the FO in 2017 and 2018 more than likely his percent would be lower.

        Now how’s that for humiliation???

        Much as you like to give lessons of knowledge, there is no sense in citing statistics that I, like everyone else, has access to and knows.

        First maybe you have the illusion that Rafa reads and follows the opinion of every Tom, Dick and Harry writing on his fan sites, I do not think so. This is a site where his fake or true fans share their opinions and wishes for Rafa and nobody has monopoly of knowledge. Before you start to give lessons, please read my comments again.
        First Rafa himself said that he had not yet decided on Wimbledon, which to my mind shows his doubts.
        I am not a mind reader, but if I were in his place, I would be happy with a glory that makes me unique in the tennis world, before entering a competition where in 12 years of participation I had only won twice.
        Finally, read again, I ended my comments saying that whatever he decides, Wamos Rafa, you are the best.

      • You can’t accept that even though Rafa doesn’t do well at Wimby he still wishes to TRY TO WIN IT AGAIN. In fact, Roger is concerned about Rafa playing Wimbledon because he has gotten so much better. All you see is a humiliated Rafa.

        If you were In his place? You are not Rafa and that’s why you can’t understand his desire to play Wimbledon. He perseveres. That’s why he is the GREAT CHAMPION that he is.

        Also, he had to be tired after so many matches. Practically non-stop. If anything, he is taking his team’s advice about listening to his body. I don’t know how you could interpret that as being “doubtful” about Wimbledon if he is fit, and he is fit. He wants to stay fit. He is not afraid to play Wimbledon if that is what you meant by “doubtful.”

        Helpful hint, stop with personal attacks and stick to the subject. All I did was explain why I felt Rafa shouldn’t feel humiliation.

      • Margo I see that you do not accept replies so I have to add to my own which is the last time I am bothering to do so because to each comment you drag on and on with several repetitive comments without reading mine..

        Once more before you give lessons on personal attacks I advise your “authoritative” comments beginning with ‘Do you know what you are talking about Puma?’

        Yes I know what I am talking about based on what Nadal has talked.

        On a personal level, with your comments I have often wondered if you are in truth more of a Federer fan than a Rafa fan, or maybe at best cannot yet decide.

  6. Years ago when you were sick and down and with a strong hope in your heart,millions of fans didn’t give up on you! They were praying and hoping that a day will come when YOU will be in top again! And YOU didn’t give up on us as well,cause that day came and you are in top,to god and back,more than anybody else could even dream about it !
    And millions love you for who you are,for what you do!
