Rafa responded to a question about where he may be five years from now.
“I don’t know. There are many new and younger players and it’s difficult to say. Will I be there? There is a big chance that in five years I will be the world No. 1 in fishing.
Today there are Zverev, Thiem, Shapovalov who [are] very strong, but many others will come.” [Mikael McKenzie, 5/23/2018]
RAFA ROCKS COMEDY
Dominic Thiem has been running himself into the ground; or so I thought.
He has been playing non-stop except for Miami and Davis Cup because of an ankle injury sustained at Indian Wells.
I had written him off to win the Lyon Open. He played for 5 hours yesterday: finishing his QF and then playing his semi-final.
His final today against G. Simon was not looking good. He was down 3-6, 3-6 when he got a second wind to win the second set in a tiebreak 7[7]-6[1]. He went on to win the decider 6-1.
I am wondering if he will make it past his FO first round. YIKES
RAFA ROCKS
Diego Schwartzman was at Rafa’s academy last week, warming up for the FO, where he took the opportunity to practice with Rafa.
RAFA ROCKS
At what time is Rafa v/ s Dogolopov match scheduled?
Dolgopolov not playing.
Ahhhh…….. the wait is killing me. Vamos
