The world No. 1 is now on a 20-match unbeaten run on clay, which includes a whopping 48 unbeaten sets. He is two sets away from breaking John McEnroe’s 1984 record of 49 straight sets won on a single surface.

Rafa will await No. 13 seed Diego Schwartzman or fellow Spaniard Feliciano Lopez in the last-16.
