There are five weeks left until the end of the 2017 tennis season.
During the ATP World Tour Finals, which will be held at The O2 in London from 12-19 November, the ATP will announce the winners of the ATP World Tour Awards.
World No. 1 Rafael Nadal has been nominated for the ‘ATP Fan Favourite Singles’ award!
In the past 13 years, this award was reserved for Roger Federer so Rafa is going to need our help, to stand a chance of winning.

Also the Spanish ATP website has no link to vote. The promotional video for the awards is in English only.

Hi Tiggy, I looked for the above quote but couldn’t find it. I was on the ATP website to vote and spent some time there reading the lists of past recipients’ after I voted for Rafa. Please be so kind as to supply the link. Or tell me how to find it?
As for the awards in general, I have followed Rafa for the past 10-11 years but never knew about the year-end awards until I joined RNF.

Hi Margo, if you follow the link RNF provided and simply look for the comments below (after you have pressed the vote button). It may sound like sour grapes but tennis is business, big business, it’s actually naïve to think that the voting might not be influenced by sponsors. I hope you find it.
Surely this is a foregone conclusion, even people who are not Rafa fans must see that after what he has achieved this year it couldn’t possibly go to anyone else , if it does it’s a travesty.

I really think that this Award is rigged. We never see the breakdown.
Moet (RF’s sponsor) has around 2 million employees all with a vested interest in voting for Roger.
In fact look at the sponsor and we can see where our votes will end up. Anyway, I still voted.
