I asked Rafa if he would be watching the final on TV today in Rome, between resting and enjoying the sun in Majorca.😃 We are pleased that Thiem did not get to the final as he did not let Rafa through, today I think may the best man win, Zverev perhaps as it would be a first title and Novak has won enough. Which channel do you have in the UK to see the atp European matches ? In Paris they are on Bein Sport. I think a few years ago they were on Eurosport. Fiona in Paris

    • Mainly on sky so far this year fiona. But I think some of them later switch to eurosport. Not sure if that is atp or us open and ao though.

  3. I’m sad that rafa lost but if he had to lose to anyone, I’m glad it was to dominic as I really like him and he played really well. If that was best of 5 as in the grand slams, I’m sure rafa would have got it as dominic may not have been able to keep up that level. At least rafa can go home and rest up for roland garros. Just hoping that del potro can take down novak again.

    • Susie and the others, of course disappointed,😕 prayed for Rafa to continue and win Rome, have been watching the videoclip of his Rome final 2006, aged nearly 20 😃lovely looking and a super success. Just looking forward to my visit to Roland Garros now. I thought he would rest in Majorca from today Saturday and that is what he said he is doing, the temperature there is showing 24 degrees. You may have seen my earlier comments this year about motivation. When I went to the RG quarters in 2015 the media had predicted also the public that he would not win and we did not get the impression that the motivation was there to prove them wrong. 😐Rome was predicted that he would sail through as the last times, so where was the motivation to see it? I would be interested to hear what you others think about this. Fiona in Paris

  16. Watched your match with Jack and it is simply amazing to watch you back as you once were just a few years ago, back to your aggressive, confident best. Your serve has improved immensely as has your confidence. Joy to watch you in action and just love it when you come on with your GAME FACE on right from the start. You bring excitement and passion to the game of tennis that no other tennis player seems to do so even though there are some very good players out there, you are head and shoulders above them – truly unique in that regard. Also good to see JMDP back on tour, he is another lovely guy. 🎾💪🇧🇴💥
