I can’t believe this is happening, after seeing Novak go out the road to that final was looking so clear for Rafa,it looked like he had it in the bag . Come on Rafa. You need to turn this match around , you have a great opportunity here now the top seeds are out , a position you’re unlikely to find yourself in again. That’s it Rafa , you can do this

I don’t want to sound negative but Rafa’s playing really lousy. In matches like this each time he breaks serve I often see him to nervous and consquently gets broken right back WAY too often. Not liking this at all!

Quite a lousy set from Rafa to be honest :(.
Rafa doesn’t like night matches like these at all.
Wow. Somehow Rafa got the set, but really Diego was hitting harder and deeper and more consistently, and it was Rafa scraping through.
But…. Rafa has won many a match with just that approach.
I have to abandon match, in faith Rafa will win, but worried about how he will deal with Goff if Diego is giving him this much trouble.
It’s cold now and that may be contributing.

Jeeezuz Rafa broken again. Diego has def found some new level in his game … Rafa should still win and if he can’t beat Diego he certainly can’t handle Goff.
Az was a deceiving match bcz Az was so off his game. Hard to tell how much was Rafa or AZ just being lousy.
