The draw for the Brisbane International was held today.
World No. 9 Rafael Nadal will kick off the 2017 season with an intriguing first round match against Alexandr Dolgopolov. Our champ will carry a 5-2 head-to-head record into his first-round match, however the Ukrainian has won their two most recent clashes.
Our champ, who is the fifth seed in Brisbane, is seeded to face defending champion Milos Raonic in the last eight and rising Austrian star Dominic Thiem in the semis.

Dear Rafa fans, I wish you all a Happy New Year. My wish for Rafa is to be able to play all year without injuries. I watched the highlights of his matches in Dubai and thought he looked great. His FH in particular was sparkling. I also liked how his hair looked. I truly hope 2017 is a special one for our hero.
Rafas potential route to the final looks a tough one but he’s looking in good form so I’m hoping he will go deep into this tournament.Your on in five mins , good luck Rafa you know you can do this and it will do your confidence a word of good.
