Rafa and Nole entertain Milan crowds in fun exhibition

It was just an exhibition game for the Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, but the two men gave the crowd in Milan plenty to smile about.

The result was the least important thing (Nole won 6-4, 6-4), it was all about the fans who enjoyed themselves with the great spectacle offered by two of the best players in the world.

  1. According to his manager, Rafa will skip the South American clay courts (Rio, and Buenos Aires) in February, and instead will compete at the hard courts of Rotterdam. I had hoped that he would stick to the gentler clay courts.

  3. Wow ! give a few years at Rafa’s academy and who knows what life holds for him , could be Spain’s next number 1 player in the future , he’s got the game and looks and hopefully the attitude of our Rafa

  4. They are probably all of to Rafa’s dad’s restaurant niw for a well deserved slap up meal. The young lad played great, and who knows could be the next generation of top spanish tennis players (and heartthrob) , with Rafa a s his super coach

  5. What a pleasure to watch a great , fun ,stress free tennis match , and a treat to see McEnroe as well who always speaks so highly of Rafa. Couldn’t understand one word or see the scoreboard as it was blurred but who cares. Who was the young lad who was playing with Rafa ?And how does Rafa manage to speak so many words without taking a breath? Thanks again Teresa it made my Sunday afternoon .

    • It was a pleasure and privilege to watch – made me a bit tearful. It seems like yesterday Rafa was a big puppy – he’s achieved so much in such a short time. The young lad I imagine is a student – probably a stand in for Mats. What an opportunity! Mats recently spoke up in Rafa’s defence about the doping madness – so I love him to death now (as well as Mac). I hope they have great fun together in Majorca!
