VIDEO: Rafael Nadal sends get well message to injured Luke Siegel

10-year-old Luke Siegel, who recovers from brain injury, has recieved a get well message from Rafael Nadal.

What happened to Luke? On July 28, 2015, Lubbock Police reported that Luke and his friend were riding in a golf cart in South Lubbock at a high rate of speed, driving in circles around a cul-de-sac.  Witnesses said the golf cart tipped over.  Luke was taken to University Medical Center for treatment where his family learned that Luke had gone into cardiac arrest and suffered severe brain damage.

    and they were both out of the buggy, and it run away over the legs of Ron, but he rehabilited com[pletely.

  3. I had to look this up because I couldn’t figure out how a person could be so badly injured riding in a golf cart, on grass.
    Very sad story. The golf cart landed on top of Luke, who will never be able to use his legs, nor be able to talk, according to doctors. He is home now and it’s been a year since his accident. I hope Rafa’s and the other sports stars’ messages brought him some happiness in his young life.
