PHOTOS: Rafael Nadal celebrates his 30th birthday with girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello and their friends

Rafael Nadal showed off his impressive form on a yacht, celebrating his 30th birthday in style with his lovely girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello in Formentera, Spain.

Their holiday evidently wasn’t hindered by Rafa’s ailment, which he kept protective with a bright blue wrist support; a contrast to his vibrant pink swimming shorts.

Here are a few photos.

  1. Andy murray is a joke. he doesn’t deserve to be NO. 2. he couldn’t hold his freaking serves in sets 2,3 and 4. Djoker team methodically analyze his opponents games and their weaknesses. unless Uncle Toni and Rafa’s team that have no clue whatsoever. please don’t me started with his previous 14GSs. I’m in a rotten mode after today’s FO final. I just hate Novak and uncle Toni.

    • It’s not Novak fault that the top players are playing bad or have injuries. He just is taking care of his business about that huge advantage while last which I don’t think will be too long

    • Rafa loves his Uncle Toni as he has stated so many times, because were it not for Uncle Toni he would not be who he is today.

      RAFA ROCKS

  2. Rafa, all best wishes for a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY celebrating on your new yacht,
with your family and friends who all mean so much to you.Take time for the tendon sheath inflammation to heal.Remember to keep using your right hand instead.
    Love and prayers,
    Alaine(Sydney, Australia.)

  3. When I see a GOOD (hmmmmmmm) man with the same bragging rights as the much loved Rafa and Roger I will let you know , haven’t found him yet though.🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸

  4. Rafa missed RG in body but he was there in spirit.
To his friends Feliciano and Marc, “How exciting! HUGE Feliciano and Marc!!! I’m very happy for my friends’ win at #Roland Garros!!! Congrats!”
To Garbiñe, “Congrats Garbiñe for your win at Roland Garros. Great news for Spanish tennis.”
Rest assured Rafa, you will certainly be back at RG. Take your time in getting back to form because I will wait for as long as it takes.

    RAFA ROCKS

  5. Thank God the FO is over , won’t have to hear about Novak trying to win it again . Novak again over the top and no class . Stan last year toned his victory down to save Novak’s feelings but this year Novak didn’t give a hoot about how Murray felt . Hurry back strong Rafa and take your trophy back , if I have to watch anymore cringe worthy moments of Novak I will have to find a new sport to watch

    • Same thoughts… Glad that this sad FO is over now. I also fear to lose my passion for (male) tennis after the Rafa- Roger- era is over. But why must the new record-breaker be this “cold” Djoker…somehow sorry to feel like this, but impossible to force the sympathies. He’s just not having that “authentic” charisma, for me.
Rafa, we need you back on the tour for 5 more years, at least! Just take enough time to heal this wrist out… I also had a tendon sheath inflammation last year, it took over one year to heal out :(. But normally it should not take so long… I pray! I’ve got some Wimbledon tickets… But something very very big will (probably) be missing there….I can live with. But I wish soooo much to see him play in Basel and for him that he can do the Olympics.
Now, I need some more patience :).

    • Novak now has equal bragging rights with Rafa and Roger.

Well, you can’t keep a good man down for too long, can you?

      But, as always, we’ll see…..Hmmmmmmmmmmmm,,,,,,,,

    • Agreed in everything you have said. Novak on the top when the others top players have not playing well or with injuries. I only can say that he has taken a good advantage of it, pity

    • No class…so true! His antics with the ball kids after each win was sickening, and in the final instead of going up to thank his family and coaches for helping him win the one trophy that’s alluded him for so long, he does that stupid thing with the kids. All he’s doing is kissing up to the crowd etc. As I’ve said before, he is such a phony and the only time he’s gracious is when he’s winning or has won, it’s easy to be gracious when you’re winning. For example, during the semis after losing a point he threw his racket so hard on the ground that it just missing a lines person standing behind him, had it hit the man, Novak would have been out on his ass. Never will you see Rafa doing anything like that. Novak will be just a faint memory long after everyone is still talking about Rafa.

  6. Glad he’s enjoying himself. Boy is clay court tennis boring without him. Should have been his today, but here’s to a speedy recovery.

  7. French open is only a score now. Happy Birthday to the player who has defined champion in the sport of tennis. A warrior and a gentleman. All the best for a complete recovery-what better way to recuperate than on that beautiful yacht😎💪👍🆒👊🌠💃🏻🎂🎆❤️

  8. Haven’t a clue , I think there are quite a few Serbs there (maybe they should remember that as soon as he became rich and famous he left the country he proclaims to love so much).I don’t understand the French they didn’t react this much when their own players were on court and never when Nadal won

    • Hmmmmmmmmmmm………maybe because Novak lives there and can also speak French, I guess…

      Je parle Francais?

      But, as always, we’ll see………….

  9. Can anyone explain to me why the French crowd don’t like Andy? Or is it that the Serbians have turned up en masse? I really don’t get it.

  10. So glad Rafa having a good birthday with his girlfriend and friends
We so miss hime this year at RG especially after he was getting back to his best
Get your wrist sorted and take time for it to heal
We so miss you and tennis is so boring without you w
Now hoping Andy wins this year

  11. I do hope Andy wins today ,then he can keep the trophy warm ready to hand back to his friend Rafa next year.

  12. JUST ENJOY YOURSELF RAFA YOU DESERVE IT, LOVE THE YAUGHT ,STILL BE CAREFUL SAILING CAN BE A LITTLE DANGEROUS BIG HUG AND BIG THANKYOU XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  13. RNF has posted fans’ birthday videos to Rafa on YouTube. These come from all over the world and what is so endearing is that many thanked Rafa for the joy he has given them. Rafa has some very special fans.

    RAFA ROCKS

  14. Lovely to see Rafa enjoying himself after the heartbreak of having to retire from the FO. Keep fighting Rafa and hope to see you back on the tennis circuit soon

  15. Happy 30th birthday dear Rafa! The FO was boring without you. I hope that your wrist can heal quickly, but it looks unlikely that you will be able to play Wimbledon. We know how much you want to be ready for the Olympics. Your fans miss you, but we are glad you are enjoying yourself with your close friends.
