I didn’t see the match live attending our national sport of hurling but followed online. Watched recording last night. What fantastic tennis for 2 sets, the athleticism of both players, incredible shots, sporting, wonderful crowd and atmosphere. So happy to see Rafael back playing well with confidence and joy. As usual he said all the right things. So sweet to see him and Maria exchanging a real kiss, she is so beautiful, a perfect match. Congratulations Rafael and also to your team
Rafa, What a glorious and jubilant end to a wonderful week of tennis at Monte Carlo.. It was awesome to see you play and improve each round against formidable opponents especially Stan and Andy, and to see you grow in confidence was extremely pleasing for all your fans who have waited so patiently for this day to come. It’s a win that is truly deserved and to have five in a row was absolutely magnificent. You have been out there in the Wilderness of defeats for a very long time, but this has not stopped you from giving up we love your fighting spirit, we know you have a love and respect for the game of tennis, you have been absolutely professional in your attitude still committed and dedicated to never give up, through all your trials and challenges you continued to work hard to regain your best form. It was a fabulous week of tennis and to win against Gael Monfils in the final was just the ultimate for your efforts and hard work. We applaud you. We congratulate you. We love you. Rafa is amazing! I could watch him every day for the rest of my life and never tire! The only thing on my bucket list is to meet Rafa watch him play and just stare at him forever! 🙂
So glad to see Rafa with Maria at this fabulous event. Uncle Toni is great and we watch his every twitch, but he is nothing like as beautiful as ‘our’ Maria!
