Rafa on playing Dominic Thiem:

He is a very good player and has won many tournaments in the past year on this surface.

He is young and possesses great potential and I hope to play at a high level.

World No. 19 Thiem, the youngest player in the Top 20 at 22-years-old, lost to Rafa in their only previous meeting in straight sets at the 2014 French Open.

GOOD LUCK AND VAMOS RAFA!

  1. The fight continues against the opponent and his own issues; belief is what carries the victor and we see Rafael searching to regain form. Good luck-no
other player brings the same fire to the court!

win or loose its part of game

  4. Have a great match Rafa , hoping you are feeling better haven’t seen any of this tournament as it is not being televised in the UK and we’ll said Rafael Nadal Fans we all feel the same

  5. As a true and loyal fan I have every faith in Rafa and fed up reading about he needs anew coach ! Why ??? It’s uncle Toni and his team that have helped him win all his grand slams and masters etc he could not have acheived this on talent alone ! He will do his very best to win this and if he doesn’t then it’s not the end of the world Ok he’s not the player he was but then that’s not surprising with all the injuries he has had but I don’t think for a minute we have seen the last of this great tennis player yet he and only he will know when it’s time to give up tennis but I sincerely hope it’s not for a long time yet as there doesn’t seem to be any real new talent waiting in the background Vamos Rafa do your best

  6. sorry, dont have a good feeling about rafas semi final match. hope im wrong and rafa wins injury free. after reading all the various comments (cant watch the matches from where i am) makes me wonder what his team is doing although one cannot blame them completely. something more than rafa and his team is involved here. in any case, at such times more help is needed and at all levels – mental, physical, emotional etc. for one, in this case rafa, to reach up to what he was 3 or more years ago.
always hoping and praying for the best for rafa.
    vamos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Believe in Rafa and stop the negativity. He played in really high temperature yesterday, so understand how challenging that is. Slow footwork??? Scouting Thiem’s match, I guess they know how he played. Impressive player but I believe in Rafa.

  8. Rafa looked tired in previous match against Lorenzi. His footwork was really slow. I just hope that he won’t get another injury. Uncle Toni needs to know that Rafa is not 20 years old anymore, he is 30 now. A solid and consistent forehand would make up for the slow footwork.

  9. VAMOS DEAR RAFA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) 🙂 : ) : ) : ) Love your great match photos….. you are so handsome & genuine looking!!!!!!!!!!!!! : ) : ) : ) Thanks to the good folks posting these lovely photos & all the great video clips ! : ) VAMOS DEAR RAFA & have lots & lots of fun playing tomorrow, it will be a fantastic match for you!!!!!! : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) VAMOS to you & your great team!!!!!!!! Have a good time & & lots of love & happiness!!!!!!!!!!!! : ) : ) : ) : ) Good night sweetheart & sweet dreams !!!!!!!!!!!!!! : ) : ) 🙂 : ) : ) : ) : ) : ) VAMOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : ) VAMOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : ) VAMOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : )

  10. A real coach would’ve scouted Thiem’s quarterfinal match against Lajovic. You think Toni did? NOT!

    • How do you know what Toni has done or not?

Stop being so negative about everything… We had a pleasure to watch Rafa winning 14 GS and many other tournaments so even watching Rafa play is enough for us. It’s not all about victories. He is not a robot. Where have you (and all other fans who know only to criticize here) been when Rafa was in top form?

You really enjoy to piss some people here. We know he is not in top form, but you are not his coach and trust me his team know better than you or anyone else here what to do.

If you don’t have something nice to say, better don’t say anything…
