Argentina Open draw 2016: Will Rafael Nadal and David Ferrer meet in the final?

The Argentina Open 2016 draw is out, and Rafael Nadal has a bye in the first round. Our champ had not intended to compete at the event, but his first-round exit at the recent Australian Open forced him to reconsider his plans.

In the second round, Rafa will play the winner of the match between a qualifier and Juan Monaco.

  1. Hope Rafa makes it all the way through to the Final. i.ll be barracking hard for him Vamos Dear Lad

  2. J Beer, I often ask why you are here as you appear to support players. We are supporters of Rafael Nadal

    • I am consistent as a fan and not playing along in this bs game of ‘we love you no matter what’. I will not be silence about how stupid the approach of team nadal is towards the 2,5 year old downward slide. The first step towards solving a problem is acknowledging it. I will point out the problem and the consequences (a lot of losses) until nadal does something about it or when he retires (he will within two years probably). Team nadal is a once successful company that is now run badly, blinded by the profits of old, ignoring the times that have changed.

      • You said it all, J Beer.

We are the only ones, together with MIROMO that can say the truth about Rafa on this site.
The others, Elizabeth Howard & Co, prefer to praise and praise Rafa to his ‘doom’

It’s so SAAAAAADDDD!!! While we are consistently lambasting Rafa to change his coaching crew, others are saying Rafa’s game is the best thing to happen to Tennis. So sad.

    • Well said Maria, Elizabeth and Elaine true fans as always and none of us are blinded by his losses, we all know and so does Rafa that he needs to make changes to adapt to improve his game, he has said as much himself, and he is the one playing tennis after all, but we will always support him no matter what, so J Beer, Deep Thinker and the other one called Move on etc take yourselves off as you are just wasting your time with your silly, stupid comments which mean absolutely nothing and prove your total ignorance of a great tennis player, great champion (this said by all tennis players by the way) and just serve to show what you actually know about Rafa, so please shove off!!!!!!!!

      • Uh? What changes are you expecting after 2,5 years that went from bad to worse without ANY change?

  3. Rafa, why are you so stubborn? It is time to add another coach to your group….THINK NOVAK, REMEMBER WHEN HE WAS IN A SLOUCH, THEN HE BROUGHT IN HIS NEW COACH AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENED….NO ONE CAN TOUCH HIM NOW….Sometimes you just need new blood and new thoughts to get you riled up……COME ON RAFA, WE LOVE YOU AND NEED YOU, WITHOUT YOU IN THE GAME IT IS NO FUN TO WATCH…….

  4. Good luck our Champ! Does anyone know if this is being televised in the UK on any of the sports channels as I can only see ATP at Rotterdam scheduled at the minute on Sky sports? Vamos Rafa!

  12. Let me the first to reply as I am a huge fan of Rafa as most commentators know, some agree with me and others (about 3 should not be on this site, you know who you are) anyway, as always, wish Rafa all the very best for this tournament and every other one he competes in. The very fact that he asked for a wc after his early exit from the AO shows his desire to do well this year and no one is more disappointed by his 1st round exit then he is, so please all of you Rafa fans get behind him and show support. Vamos Rafa
