  1. Rafa I have seen the improvements you have made this year. So proud of you. Great match. I know it was disappointing but let them start underestimating your genius and you will come back all the way. I have watched you since you were 18. My dream is to see you play in person somewhere in 2016. I live in the states but Florida California and Cincinnati are best for me. I am turning 60 on Jan 26th and its my Birthday present to myself. I would even come to Spain. Could someone please let me know where you will be for sure.
    By the way your opponent said he beat you by watching your win in 2009 can’t remember witch tournament right now.
    I do believe you need some new techniques because everyone is watching and studying your tapes. That should be flattering though also.

  2. Funny how so many different players just happen to get “hot” when they play Rafa. Gee, do you think it might have something to do with the fact that his short, high-bouncing, powder puff shots are EYE CANDY for them?!?!? Or the fact that he stands 5, 10, 15 feet behind the baseline during so many rallies?!?!? Or the fact that he’s so predictable with his shot selection?!?!? Or the fact that he lets his opponents strike first on nearly every point, driving him from corner to corner retrieving their shots while they stand in the center of the court like a tennis instructor?!?!? Or the fact that his serve and return-of-serve are among the weakest on the ATP tour?!?!? Nah, it couldn’t be any of those things, could it?!?!? Rafa is just so unlucky that nearly every tournament some no-name journeyman player gets “hot” against him and kicks his stubborn, childish, arrogant, unprofessional butt out of the draw. What an unlucky guy he is. The unluckiest guy in the whole wide world. NOT!!!

Even if you won the match, you would have been tired for the next one etc…..hard to fathom the rational behind their poor hard draws!     As all course of nature , EVENTUALLY, ALL behind the scene relative truths will all come to light……MUCH LIKE OIL ON WATER…………obvious to all to see. For now, all educated tennis fans all know that since you came aboard you over took the player at the time, and the younger players emerging…. You had two full lengthy rivalry back to back….. you left r fed way behind & & won over novak till your injuries. Somehow, the atp is all too invested in keeping far far past reputation alive despite player’s decline. YOU ARE THE BEST TENNIS PLAYER EVER DEAR RAFA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : ) : ) : ) SO for now, reluctantly, ALL TENNIS FANS may have to continue to put up with bias politics, and let the artificial crowning of the weaker player continue, the imbalanced draws, AND all these ways of protecting certain players whilst making it most difficult for others well deserving champions……etc….etc….. NOTHING CHANGED…. Much like history tells us…..ATP did the same w Martina N & C Everett…. Martina was CLEARLY the stronger , superior player for a very very long time , for YEARS……..and yet, the ATP kept protecting Everett ‘s image, and artificially crowning her over Martina till FINALLY, it was so obvious that Everette was out of breath and they could no longer keep up the undeserving adoration . Martina is by far the best player EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Much like you dear Rafa, she had to over come so many bias obstacles….. and yet, truth be known all TENNIS FANS at the time were well aware of the discrimination and unnecessary pile of rocks placed on her way…..It was a bias then, and it continues to be an obvious bias nowadays with such poor, unworthy politics…..AFTER ALL, SPORT IS EASY ENOUGH TO DETECT……..simple & straightforward….where one earns a solid reputation by genuine competition…. not by favoritism & private privileged connections , or butt licking…. Similarly, all the efforts to pull one undeserving player over a well deserving player is as clear as a bell !!!!! It is as clear, that at some point all of it will come to light. In the meantime, I am certain those who are benefiting from easy draws over & over again, KNOW their victories are meaningless & irrelevant. Thanks you for your pearls of wisdom but I think your memory must be playing tricks on you , as you will find if you go back over your own comments it is you who have done nothing but disrespect Rafa whether he win or loses and anybody who has a kind word to say about him .I Should not be surprised when you go under the title the gutmensh basher which you obviously know is a derogatory term .

  6. i really wants from rafa to tell the truth, about what’s going wrong with him …in this shadow of his match loss we are forgetting one thing , now its been 1 year 3 months and rafa not even reached a semifinal of grandslam or even managed to win any of the master. it is really strange for player like rafa to be out of form so long?????
    and now when he had some good last 3 to 4 months and enters the AO 16 with this what we find he is not able apply the power on his ball the energy seems to be missing in the match from 1 set . even with rafa playing poor he managed to win 2 sets now that’s tell how verdasco was playing bad ..yes he had some 90 winners but the UE from verdasco is also on same line

    and then to analysis the match that verdasco played good and doesn’t revealing why he was not able apply the same power to the balls. for me rafa played superbly in US open against fabio in 5 th set ..he fighted till last point even when fabio striking heavy bombs

    there was the days when opponent enter the stadium with half defeated mentality against rafa now same is happening when opponent playing novak

    from last year now the opponent feels they can beat him fairly if they able to execute their plan

    and now after such a long time what we saw no great thing about his serve and even panicing is rafa was not able to apply the power

    something is really going in his mind, the thought process is making him unable to play what he wanted to play and then after match such analysis

    it’s very troublesome for rafa fans

    now rafa we as a fan really deserve to know what’s really going wrong with you and please tell the truth

    i hope his family/parents/sister or some legend in tennis sit with him and discuss all this things to give him clear thoughts

    i don’t want to see a player like rafa to fade away like this

  8. Rafa lIke many of your fans I am also upset you lost , and yes like
    Ged, no more Aussie tennis for me this year ,but I did not watch the match.I hear you stayed back of the base line no stay up front. right on it you give the advantage to your opponent.
    I know its easy for us all to say but you have worked, achieved all this before. may be you practise to much sorry to say but both you and tony need help bless you xx

  9. So sad. Rafa is throwing everything away that he worked so hard to build. His legendary career. Now he has become like a joke. Losing to everyone so early. Hard to watch. What’s even more painful is his attitude. He just accepts everything and thinks it was all his opponent. He needs to be angry, critical. If Djoko loses so early in 1 slam he rages and doesnt accept it and looks at himself hard. After almost 2 years gone to waste Rafa still thinks it was about 1 match. He doesn’t see the big picture and his hunger is just not big enough. He really needs a good coach that knows his flaws well. If he had done this a year or 2 ago he would have surpassed Federer and cemented himself as the goat. Now he gives a free pass to Djokovic. Rafa used to beat Djoko in slams easily. Now he cant get out of the first rounds. When will he realize that its not about working hard but about the wrong way of working hard. He’s going to injure himself longterm if he keeps doing this.
