The Qatar Open draw is out, and No. 2 seed Rafael Nadal is set to start the first official tournament of 2016 with a first round match against Pablo Carreño Busta, ranked No. 69. It will be their second career meeting.
Rafael Nadal’s possible rivals in the later stages of the tournament are:
- 1st Round: Pablo Carreño Busta
- 2nd Round: Robin Hasse
- Quarter Final: Andreas Seppi
- Semi Final: David Ferrer
- Final: Novak Djokovic
Rafa will team up with Fernando Verdasco. Their first round will be played against the team of Teymuraz Gabashvili/Albert Ramos-Vinolas. Here’s the full doubles draw.
Main draw play begins on Monday, 4 January in Doha.
