Rafael Nadal recorded a hard-fought victory over David Ferrer in the semifinals of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi.
Our champ beat Ferrer 6-3, 6-7(4), 6-3 to reach tomorrow’s final, where he will face either Stan Wawrinka or Milos Raonic.
After the match, Rafa said:
It was a great match. Very tough physically and mentally too, we were fighting a lot. Happy to be in the final again.

Watched the match and was very, very competive, as we would expect from these two warriors and although an exhibition match was important for Rafa’s confidence to win this one, bodes well for the rest of this year. 🐂🐃🍝🎾🇦🇩
