  2. 2 years ago, we would all look at this draw and be 98% sure that Rafa would make it to the final, with a decent chance of beating Novak on Sunday. Now, the only match that looks like a sure thing is the 1st rounder against some guy we never heard of. After that, it’s a crap shoot. Would anyone here be shocked if he lost to Pospisil in the 2nd round? I doubt it. What would really shock us would be if he won the tournament. That pretty much says it all right there, and puts to bed the idea that he is “progressing” and “getting close” to his old form. He’s about as close to beating Novak as Uncle Toni is to beating Boris Becker. Sad but true.

    • But we can be sure that if he loses in round 2 the majority of the fans here will write that he played great and is really improving!

    • Move in Rafar Move on, The advice I would give you is to Move on. We do not need such comments here. What have you achieved ? Funny but Uncle Toni would beat Boris Becker now. I saw Boris in New York, he looks so stiff and walks slowly. Rumour has it that he has two ” new” hips and ankle problems. Uncle Toni looks fit and healthy.

      • “Uncle Toni looks fit and healthy.” Yeah right – and that spare tire around his waist proves it.

  4. He’s healthy, he’s smiling, he’s working hard, he’s moving well, he’s making adjustments to hard courts, he’s enjoying his life. Things are as they should be. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose – such is sport.
I’m here to enjoy this special man whatever happens. It has been a privilege all the way.
